These projects were hand picked from between 2021 and 2022, being mostly academic work as part of my degree. However there are some professional and passion project easter eggs too.
CobblerCo
This was primarily a digital branding project for my degree. CobblerCo is an entirely fictional client I made. I was the sole designer in this project. I developed the following:
- Researched & refined brand strategy
- Fresh identity system
- Eye catching ecommerce website
- Applied print branding

- Social media posts
- Prototyped packaging

Talla's tavern
This was primarily a print branding project for my degree. Talla’s Tavern is a real restaurant situated in Gordon’s Bay. I was the sole designer in this project. I developed the following:
- Researched & refined brand strategy
- Redesigned identity system
- Branded website
- Applied print branding
- Applied digital branding
- Social media posts
- Packaging
- Motion graphics
2023 Soweto international jazz festival
This was a marketing strategy with both digital & print design collateral project for my degree.
I was the sole the designer. I developed the following:
- Researched & marketing strategy
- Art direction based on strategy
- Digital & print advertising collateral
- Promotional merchandise collateral
- Social media advertisements
- Google advertisement
- Outdoor billboard content
- Poster designscontent
Viridis Herbs
This was a primarily a packaging design (with branding elements) project for my degree. I was the sole designer. This project awarded me a ‘finalist’ seat at the 2022 Student Goldpack Awards. I developed the following:
- Unique herb packaging solution
- With uniquely applied branding & identity
- Print ready dielines (that were prototyped)
- Product instruction manual
The Yakk club
This was a community engagement project for my degree. I lead a team of about 6 students from various discipline backgrounds in the production of this project. We developed a permaculture solution to help alleviate loneliness among the elderly in old age homes. My tasks & responsibilities were:
- Taking initiative as a 'scrum master'
- Planning design sprints for the team
- Keeping the team motivated and focused
- Recognizing member expertise
- Delegating, reviewing and moderating work
- Clarifying stakeholder critique's application

Split complimentary tales
This was a publication design project for my degree. I teamed up with a writer from University of Johannesburg. I developed a publication design for their collection of short stories. The design included:
- Research in to short stories narratives
- Informed strategy with art direction
- Applying stakeholder critique (writer)
- Print ready design files
- Hand printed, cut & pressed design product
That's about it !
